Guardrails by Andy Stanley

Leader/Host Buz & Lawanda Dorris

We know that Jesus was tempted (Matthew 4:1; Hebrews 4:15) and that he will not allow any temptation beyond what we are able to bear (1 Corinthians 10:13).  We also know that God does not tempt us (James 1:13 – 14), but is there something we can do to help when the enemy tempts us?   YES!  They come in the form of guardrails.  This series will challenge us to stop flirting with disaster and establish some personal guardrails in our lives.

The Blessed Life by Robert Morris

Host: Dave & Sondra Heaverin

Discover the joy of giving and reap the rewards of receiving! Teaching from personal experience, Morris presents a biblical message of blessing in terms of abundance and God’s supernatural power working for you.

The enemy wants to keep you from discovering God’s principles governing financial stewardship, giving and blessing.  When God changes your heart from selfishness to generosity, every part of your life’s journey is affected.  This study is certain to transform all of your life – marriage, family health, and more!

“If” by Mark Batterson

Leader: Jason & Patty Webb
Host: Michael Garrett

Wrestling with regrets? Let God take your “if onlys” and use them as a springboard to a future filled with great possibilities! With his trademark enthusiasm and joy, Batterson helps you embrace a confident, ready-to-conquer attitude based on the astounding question posed in Romans 8: “If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Acts of God by Bob Russell

Leader: John Peterson
Host: Kim Defibaugh

If God is good, why does he allow so much pain in the world? Acts of God lays this subject bare as six hurting souls are brought together through the tragic death of a child. Acts of God offers insight and hope as it explores how, in the face of personal pain, we can trust in the Lord at all times.

The Grave Robber by Mark Batterson

Leader: Tim Turner
Host: Dick Brock

Is there a situation in your life that needs God’s divine intervention?  What if God spoke into that place and brought the peace, resolution, and outcome you’ve hoped for? Do we dare believe that God can speak into our lives powerfully? Tangibly?

Jesus did this. During his earthly ministry He healed the sick, opened the eyes of the blind and even raised the dead. What if He could do these things today?

In The Grave Robber, Mark Batterson explores the seven miraculous signs of Jesus found in the Gospel of John. Beginning with the wedding at Cana and ending with the resurrection of Lazarus, Batterson takes a closer look at each of these moments, sharing inspiring stories of God’s movement today, and pointing out everyday miracles big and small that often go unnoticed. Don’t be mistaken, this isn’t a book about seeking miracles for the sake of miracles. Batterson wants to draw you closer to Jesus, the source of our salvation, and the reason for our hope.

You and Me Forever by Francis Chan and Lisa Chan

Leader/Host: Michael & Vada Dwaileebe

This seven session Bible study series, based on the book You and Me Forever from best-selling author Francis Chan and Lisa Chan, will challenge you to view your marriage like never before. These seven inspiring videos will help you dive deeper into the content of the book as you explore themes like:
It’s until death do us part. Then comes eternal rewards or regrets depending on how we spent our lives.

  • While we cannot allow lesser things to destroy our marriages, we also cannot allow marriage to distract us from greater things.
  • A jealous God asks us to pursue Him first and most. Then life makes sense, and everything falls into its proper place.
  • Love, laughter, and intimacy were all created to be enjoyed. So there is a way to love family deeply without ignoring heaven.
  • It all comes down to our focus.
  • Jesus was right. We have it all backwards. The way to have a great marriage is by not focusing on marriage.

Forgotten God by Francis Chan

Leader: Renae Elmore & Sandra Sanford
Host Home: Renae Elmore

In the name of the Father, the Son, and … the Holy Spirit. We pray in the name of all three, but how often do we live with an awareness of only the first two? As Jesus ascended into heaven, He promised to send the Holy Spirit—the Helper—so that we could be true and living witnesses for Christ. Unfortunately, today’s church has admired the gift but neglected to open it.

Breakthrough author Francis Chan rips away paper and bows to get at the true source of the church’s power—the Holy Spirit. Chan contends that we’ve ignored the Spirit for far too long, and we are reaping the disastrous results. Thorough scriptural support and compelling narrative form Chan’s invitation to stop and remember the One we’ve forgotten, the Spirit of the living God.

Follow by Andy Stanley

Leaders/Host: Pastor Craig & Vicki Dacus

Lots of people think Christianity is all about doing what Jesus says.  But what if doing what Jesus says isn’t what Jesus says to do at all?  His invitation is an invitation to relationship, and it begins with a simple request:  follow me.

Religion says “ Change and you can join us.”  Jesus says, “Join us and you will change.”  There’s a huge difference.  Jesus doesn’t expect people to be perfect.  He just wants them to walk with him.  Being a sinner doesn’t disqualify anyone.  Being an unbeliever doesn’t disqualify anyone.  In fact, those points of imperfection are the only places we can start.
