What to Expect
Our building is located on the northwest corner of SW 89th and May avenue in Oklahoma City.
Our address is: 3101 SW 89th Oklahoma City, OK 73189.
From the moment you pull in the parking lot, we want you to feel comfortable and welcome at Bethesda.
We know it can be a little overwhelming walking into a new church, so here's a little glimpse of what you can expect on a typical Sunday or Wednesday.
As soon as you enter the parking lot, you'll see guest parking spots reserved just for you in front of the main entrance on the south side of the building.
Please note that all building entrances except the main entrance automatically lock thirty minutes after service starts.
When you enter the building, you'll be greeted by our friendly Hospitality Team. They can help you with anything you need, so don't hesitate to ask!
We even have a gift for you at our welcome booth in the front lobby! Just fill out a Connect Card so we can make sure to keep you in the loop, and the Welcome Team will have a gift to welcome you and show our appreciation.
Our children's area is located on the west side of the building. We offer special programs from birth through fifth grade.
You'll want to arrive a few minutes early so you can check your children in before heading to service.
You'll fill out some basic information like emergency contacts, allergies, etc.
Your child will be given a name tag with a special code on it, and you'll receive a receipt with the matching code. For security, we require this receipt when picking up your children.
All our children's volunteers are background-checked, reference-checked, and trained to perform their duties before serving.
From nursery to elementary, your kids will be trained, taught, and led to follow Jesus, all while having fun.
Our services are Spirit-led, but orderly.
You'll first enjoy worship with our live worship team and choir that performs a mix of hymns, traditional praise songs, and modern worship.
Next, you'll be fed spiritually through a timely message from our Lead Pastor, Craig Dacus.
Sunday nights offer a variety of ministries for children, teens, and adults.
Our youth ministry, Fusion Life, meets Sunday nights at 6pm in the youth area on the east side of the building.
Our Connect Groups (small groups) meet Sunday nights in various host homes around the city. Connect Groups meet for one trimester at a time with breaks in between. Check with the Welcome Team to see if there's a group you can connect with now!
If childcare is a concern, we have you covered. During our Connect Group semesters, you can drop your kids off at the church for Kids Connect before heading to your group, and our children's ministry staff will feed them dinner and pour into them in a fun environment.
Wednesday nights offer special programs for children, as well as ministry for adults.
Nursery is available for birth through two years old.
Girls ages three to eighteen can participate in our girls ministry club, Mpact.
Boys ages three to eighteen can participate in our boys ministry club, Royal Rangers.
Adults can participate in various elective classes or services, as well.
